The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Nogales Apaches (Nogales, AZ) and the host Monument Valley Mustangs (Kayenta, AZ), observed Nogales's basketball team overcome Monument Valley by a margin of 56-37.

The Apaches (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rancho (Las Vegas, NV). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Rancho defeated Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ), 80-52, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Estrella Foothills Wolves (Goodyear, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 6. Monument Valley will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 60-40 non-league loss to Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ).
