Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Allegheny overwhelms Steel Valley
December 5, 2024: Munhall, PA 15120 The West Allegheny Indians basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Steel Valley Ironmen to 36 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Indians now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Elizabeth Forward for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. West Allegheny will confront a Warriors team coming off a 77-50 non-league loss to Uniontown (Uniontown, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Steel Valley falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Ironmen travel to Jeannette (Jeannette, PA) to confront the Jayhawks in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. The Jayhawks go into the game with a record of 1-0. Jeannette won 63-36 in their recent non-league game against Brashear (Pittsburgh, PA)
