Kansas High School Basketball - Topeka can't hold off Wamego
December 5, 2024: Wamego, KS 66547 Wamego Red Raiders (Wamego, KS) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Topeka Trojans (Topeka, KS), 66-61 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Wamego advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Red Raiders travel to Eudora (Eudora, KS) to face the Cardinals in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Trojans now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blue Valley Southwest for a non-league match on Monday, December 9. Topeka will face a Timberwolves squad coming off a 70-53 non-league loss to Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS). The Timberwolves record now stands at 0-1.
