California High School Basketball - Junipero Serra overwhelms Menlo-Atherton
December 5, 2024: Atherton, CA 94027 The Junipero Serra Padres basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Menlo-Atherton Bears to 25 in the Padres non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Padres now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Capuchino for a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. Junipero Serra will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 54-38 non-league loss to Summit Shasta (Daly City, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Menlo-Atherton falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bears host South San Francisco (South San Francisco, CA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Friday, December 6.
