December 5, 2024: Gallup, NM 87301 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM) and the visiting Thoreau Hawks (Thoreau, NM), observed Miyamura's basketball team overcome Thoreau by a score of 48-36.
The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Bernalillo dropped by Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 68-32, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Thoreau will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
