Louisiana High School Basketball - Barbe bested by Southern Lab
December 5, 2024: Lake Charles, LA 70605 Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball team knock off the host Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA), 63-43 in a non-league challenge.
The Kittens (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Fontainebleau was knocked off by Walker (Walker, LA), 68-39, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Buccaneers encounter the Hamilton Christian Warriors (Lake Charles, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 9. Barbe will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 35-34 non-league loss to Pickering (Leesville, LA).
