Iowa High School Basketball - Bedford thwarts Murray
December 5, 2024: Murray, IA 50174 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bedford Bulldogs (Bedford, IA) and the host Murray Mustangs (Murray, IA), observed Bedford's basketball team knock off Murray by a score of 50-39.
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sidney (Sidney, IA). The Cowboys come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Sidney prevailed over Iowa School for the Deaf (Council Bluffs, IA), 55-11, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Mormon Trail Saints (Garden Grove, IA) in a Bluegrass challenge, on Friday, December 6. Murray will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 47-37 non-league loss to Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA).
