Louisiana High School Basketball - Cedar Creek sneaks past Northwood
December 5, 2024: Ruston, LA 71270 The Cedar Creek Cougars basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Northwood Falcons to 53 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Haughton for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Cedar Creek will play a Buccaneers team coming off a 50-47 non-league win over Sterlington (Sterlington, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Northwood falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Quitman (Quitman, LA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7.
