In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Chowchilla Tribe basketball team scored a good 29-16 triumph over the Hilmar Yellowjackets.

The Tribe (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Los Banos (Los Banos, CA). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Los Banos topped Johansen (Modesto, CA), 41-26, in a non-league contest.
