December 5, 2024: Paragould, AR 72450 In Thursday's non-league test, the Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR) basketball squad defeated the host Crowley's Ridge Academy Falcons (Paragould, AR), by a score of 55-35.
Next, the Greyhounds clash with the Trumann Wildcats (Trumann, AR) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 6. Newport will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 1-3 record after their 50-45 league win over Pocahontas (Pocahontas, AR).
