Ferndale Eagles (Ferndale, MI) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Thurston Eagles (Redford, MI), 77-17 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Ferndale advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 0-1. Carman-Ainsworth lost 72-46 in their recent non-league match against Armada (Armada, MI)

The Eagles now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robichaud for a Western Wayne match on Tuesday, December 10.
