December 5, 2024: Peaster, TX 76485 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Peaster Greyhounds (Peaster, TX) and the visiting Village Tech Viper Squid (Duncanville, TX), observed Peaster's basketball team overwhelm Village Tech by a score of 45-9.
The Greyhounds (16-0) will now prepare for their challenge against North Side (Fort Worth, TX). The Steers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, North Side was routed by Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX), 39-11, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Viper Squid encounter the Young Women's Leadership Academy Lady Owls (Fort Worth, TX) in a 3A Region II District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Village Tech will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Lady Owls come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 49-24 non-league loss to Callisburg (Gainesville, TX).
