Washington High School Basketball - Tumwater overwhelms Steilacoom
December 5, 2024: Tumwater, WA 98501 The Tumwater Thunderbirds basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Steilacoom Sentinels to 25 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Thunderbirds now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Napavine for a non-league game on Monday, December 9. Tumwater will play a Tigers team coming off a 52-29 non-league loss to King's (Seattle, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Steilacoom falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Sentinels host Clover Park (Lakewood, WA) to play the Timberwolves in a 2A South Puget Sound game on Monday, December 9. The Timberwolves go into the game with a record of 1-1. Clover Park lost 75-33 in their recent non-league game against River Ridge (Lacey, WA)
