Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Gladwin knocks off Negaunee
December 5, 2024: Gladwin, MI 48624 The Gladwin Flying G's ice hockey team scored 10 points and held the visiting Negaunee Miners to 3 in the Flying G's non-league victory on Thursday.
The Flying G's now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Pleasant for a non-league bout on Friday, December 6. Gladwin will encounter a Oilers team coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Powers Catholic (Flint, MI). The Oilers record now stands at 1-5.
With the defeat, Negaunee moves to 2-4 on the season. The Miners host Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI) to encounter the Braves in a non-league contest on Friday, December 6. The Braves go into the contest with a record of 1-3. Tawas Area won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Anderson (Southgate, MI)
