December 5, 2024: La Mirada, CA 90638 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the La Mirada Matadores (La Mirada, CA) and the visiting Corona Panthers (Corona, CA), saw La Mirada's soccer squad hold off Corona by a count of 2-1.
The Matadores (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Troy (Fullerton, CA). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Troy tipped Ganesha (Pomona, CA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Panthers battle the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks (Murrieta, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, December 7. Corona will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Nighthawks enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Citrus Valley (Redlands, CA).
