The Academy of the New Church Lions (Bryn Athyn, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Pennington Red Hawks (Pennington, NJ), 84-58 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Archbishop Ryan for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 6. Academy of the New Church will play a Raiders and Ragdolls team coming off a 72-57 non-league loss to William Penn Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The Raiders and Ragdolls record now stands at 0-3.
