Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Raymond Central Mustangs (Raymond, NE), 50-38 in a non-league contest.

The Monarchs (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE). The go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder topped Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE), 80-27, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Milford Eagles (Milford, NE) in a C1 District 5 contest, on Saturday, December 6. Raymond Central will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
