Louisiana High School Basketball - Archbishop Shaw knocks off Crescent City Christian
December 5, 2025: Metairie, LA 70006 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Archbishop Shaw Eagles basketball team scored a good 73-57 win over the Crescent City Christian Pioneers.
With the victory, Archbishop Shaw advances its record to 3-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Newman (New Orleans, LA) to face the Greenies in a non-league match on Saturday, December 6. The Greenies enter the match with a record of 4-4. Newman lost 69-49 in their recent non-league match against Frederick A. Douglass (New Orleans, LA)
The Pioneers now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Abramson for a non-league match on Friday, December 12. Crescent City Christian will face a Commodores squad coming off a 44-38 non-league win over Varnado (Angie, LA). The Commodores record now stands at 1-5.
