The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Auburn Bulldogs (Auburn, NE) and the visiting Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE), observed Auburn's basketball team knock off Malcolm by a score of 50-38.

The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Louisville (Louisville, NE). The Lions come into the C1 District 1 challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Louisville prevailed over Centennial (Utica, NE), 59-27, in a non-league battle.

The Clippers now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Bend Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9. Malcolm will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 74-69 non-league win over Seward (Seward, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
