The Pyramid Lake Lakers basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Beatty Hornets to 22 in the Lakers non-league win on Friday.

Next, the Lakers clash with the Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 6. Pyramid Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Railroaders come into the test with a 0-4 record after their 50-21 non-league loss to Smith Valley (Smith, NV).

The Hornets (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Longhorns go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Battle Mountain was ripped by Smith Valley (Smith, NV), 77-62, in a non-league bout.
