Texas High School Basketball - Bloomburg holds off Mount Vernon
December 5, 2025: Mount Vernon, TX 75457 The Bloomburg Wildcats basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Mount Vernon Tigers to 53 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bowie for a non-league game on Saturday, December 6. Bloomburg will confront a Pirates team coming off a 57-14 non-league win over Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 5-3.
