The Chattanooga Prep Sentinels basketball squad (Chattanooga, TN), was nudged 68-64 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Pope John Paul II Knights (Hendersonville, TN)

With the victory, Pope John Paul II advances its record to 7-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Baylor (Chattanooga, TN) to meet the Red Raiders in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9. The Red Raiders enter the battle with a record of 5-0. Baylor won 56-55 in their recent non-league contest against Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, TN)

In their next game, the Sentinels battle the Columbia Eagles (Decatur, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 6. Chattanooga Prep will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record.
