The Covenant Christian Cougars basketball squad (Colleyville, TX), was outscored 60-45 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Grace Prep Lions (Arlington, TX)

With the victory, Grace Prep advances its record to 11-1 on the year. The Lions host Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX) to meet the Cardinals in a TAPPS 5A District 1 battle on Friday, December 12. The Cardinals enter the battle with a record of 3-9. Fort Worth Christian lost 79-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX)
