The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Crandall Pirates (Crandall, TX) and the visiting North Mesquite Stallions (Mesquite, TX), observed Crandall's basketball squad prevail over North Mesquite by a count of 63-53.

With the victory, Crandall advances its record to 6-5 on the year. The Pirates travel to McKinney North (McKinney, TX) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 6. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 1-8. McKinney North won 67-32 in their recent non-league battle against Molina (Dallas, TX)

The Stallions now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haltom for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9. North Mesquite will meet a Buffalos squad coming off a 65-49 non-league loss to Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Buffalos record now stands at 5-3.
