Maryland High School Basketball - DeMatha routs Fayetteville Academy
December 5, 2025: Hyattsville, MD 20781 In Friday's non-league match, the host DeMatha Stags basketball squad scored a decisive 90-65 victory over the Fayetteville Academy Eagles.
With the victory, DeMatha upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Stags travel to Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, December 6. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 8-0. Santa Margarita won 67-58 in their recent non-league match against Bullis (Potomac, MD)
The Eagles now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity Christian for a NCISAA Sandhills outing on Tuesday, December 9. Fayetteville Academy will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 68-55 non-league win over Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-0.
