Missouri High School Basketball - Dexter holds off Malden
December 5, 2025: Malden, MO 63863 The Dexter Bearcats basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Malden Green Wave to 65 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bearcats now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Charleston for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. Dexter will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 79-59 non-league win over Festus (Festus, MO). The Bluejays record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Malden falls to 1-1 on the year. The Green wave travel to Twin Rivers (Broseley, MO) to clash with the Royals in a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 9. The Royals enter the outing with a record of 3-1. Twin Rivers lost 77-42 in their recent non-league outing against Woodland (Marble Hill, MO)
