The Eastwood Troopers basketball squad (El Paso, TX), was nudged 37-30 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Midlothian Panthers (Midlothian, TX)

The Panthers (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Dallas, TX). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Madison edged Ryan (Denton, TX), 72-67, in a non-league contest.

The Troopers now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amarillo for a non-league match on Saturday, December 6. Eastwood will face a Sandies squad coming off a 52-43 non-league win over Southwest (Fort Worth, TX). The Sandies record now stands at 8-2.
