Ohio High School Basketball - Edison routs Southern
December 5, 2025: Salineville, OH 43945 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Edison Wildcats basketball team scored a big 71-34 win over the Southern Indians.
The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Toronto (Toronto, OH). The Red Knights enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Toronto overwhelmed Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH), 48-30, in a non-league match.
The Indians now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to David Anderson for a Eastern Ohio contest on Tuesday, December 9. Southern will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 72-48 non-league win over Liberty (Youngstown, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-1.
