Texas High School Basketball - Westfield bested by Grand Oaks

December 5, 2025: Spring, TX 77386

Grand Oaks Grizzlies (Spring, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they saw their basketball team thwart the visiting Westfield Mustangs (Houston, TX), 74-61 in a non-league contest.

The Grizzlies (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cleveland (Cleveland, TX). The Indians go into the 6A Region II District 13 contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Cleveland was topped by Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX), 65-36, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Klein Oak Panthers (Spring, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 6. Westfield will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 66-51 non-league win over Randle (Richmond, TX).
