In Friday's non-league contest, the host Piedmont Highlanders basketball team scored a good 72-55 triumph over the Head-Royce Jayhawks.

The Highlanders (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Archie Williams (San Anselmo, CA). The Peregrine Falcons go into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Archie Williams toppled El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA), 54-48, in a non-league game.
