In Friday's non-league test, the Illini West Chargers (Carthage, IL) basketball team toppled the visiting Monroe City Panthers (Monroe City, MO), by a tally of 57-41.

The Chargers now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Farmington for a Prairieland bout on Saturday, December 6. Illini West will play a Farmers team coming off a 43-42 non-league loss to Havana (Havana, IL). The Farmers record now stands at 1-3.
