The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Turner Lions (Carrollton, TX) and the visiting Jefferson Patriots (Dallas, TX), witnessed Turner's basketball squad prevail over Jefferson by a count of 57-37.

With the victory, Turner advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Adams (Dallas, TX) to meet the Cougars in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 6-6. Adams lost 61-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Celina (Celina, TX)

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Adamson Leopards (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 13 challenge, on Tuesday, December 9. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record.
