December 5, 2025: Joliet, IL 60435 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL) and the visiting St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL), observed Joliet Catholic's basketball team overwhelm St. Edward by a score of 67-40.
The Hilltoppers (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Aurora Christian overwhelmed Parkview Christian Academy (Yorkville, IL), 68-31, in a non-league match.
The Green Wave now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harvest-Westminster for a non-league match on Saturday, December 6. St. Edward will face a Warrior-Lions squad coming off a 66-44 non-league loss to Lisle (Lisle, IL). The Warrior-Lions record now stands at 2-3.
