In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Loveland Classical Lions basketball team scored a close 60-53 win over the Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles.

The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against STEM School Highlands Ranch (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, STEM School Highlands Ranch was tipped by Twin Peaks Classical Academy (Longmont, CO), 69-50, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the War Eagles face the Ascent Classical Academy Guardians (Lone Tree, CO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 6.
