Merced Bears (Merced, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Lincoln Mustangs (San Francisco, CA), 69-65 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Merced advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Bears travel to Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league contest on Saturday, December 6. The Vikings go into the contest with a record of 0-2. Pleasant Valley lost 76-56 in their recent non-league contest against Antelope (Antelope, CA)
