Kansas High School Basketball - Manhattan victorious over Newton
December 5, 2025: Newton, KS 67114 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Manhattan Indians basketball team scored a good 55-37 triumph over the Newton Railroaders.
The Indians (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hugoton (Hugoton, KS). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Hugoton was dropped by Salina Central (Salina, KS), 72-51, in a non-league match.
The Railroaders now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley Center for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 9. Newton will face a Hornets squad coming off a 45-44 non-league win over East (Wichita, KS). The Hornets record now stands at 1-0.
