The Marshall Redhawks basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Springport Spartans to 45 in the Redhawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Redhawks now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Coldwater for a Interstate Eight game on Friday, December 12.

With the loss, Springport falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Union City (Union City, MI) to confront the Chargers in a Big 8 game on Tuesday, December 9.
