The Midland Legacy Rebels basketball squad (Midland, TX), was nudged 42-40 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Perryton Rangers (Perryton, TX)

With the victory, Perryton advances its record to 3-6 on the year. The Rangers travel to Odessa (Odessa, TX) to meet the Bronchos in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 6. The Bronchos enter the battle with a record of 7-4. Odessa won 53-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Jefferson (El Paso, TX)
