In Friday's league contest, the host Perry Meridian Falcons basketball team scored a close 51-48 triumph over the Mooresville Pioneers.

The Falcons (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Whiteland (Whiteland, IN). The Warriors go into the Mid-State contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Whiteland nipped East Central (St. Leon, IN), 72-62, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Terre Haute South Vigo Braves (Terre Haute, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 6. Mooresville will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Braves go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 55-49 non-league loss to Linton-Stockton (Linton, IN).
