Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host North Posey Vikings (Poseyville, IN), 49-25 in a league match.

With the victory, Mt. Vernon advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN) to face the Titans in a Pocket match on Thursday, December 11.
