The Saltillo Tigers (Saltillo, MS) basketball were winner over the host New Site Royals (New Site, MS), 67-55 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Cormorant for a 6A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, December 9. Saltillo will play a team coming off a 71-44 non-league win over Gentry (Indianola, MS). The record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, New Site falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Coffeeville (Coffeeville, MS) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league test on Saturday, December 6. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 2-5. Coffeeville lost 70-68 in their recent non-league test against Senatobia (Senatobia, MS)
