December 5, 2025: Pen Argyl, PA 18072 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pen Argyl Green Knights (Pen Argyl, PA) and the visiting Notre Dame Spartans (East Stroudsburg, PA), observed Pen Argyl's basketball team edge Notre Dame by a margin of 40-33.
The Green Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Moravian Academy (Bethlehem, PA). The Lions come into the Colonial - East match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Moravian Academy was nudged by Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA), 52-40, in a league match.
The Spartans now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln Leadership Academy for a Freelance match on Saturday, December 6.
