Texas High School Basketball - St. Joseph Catholic victorious over Riesel
December 5, 2025: Bryan, TX 77803 In Friday's non-league contest, the host St. Joseph Catholic Eagles basketball team scored a good 54-35 triumph over the Riesel Indians.
The Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Covenant Christian (Conroe, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Covenant Christian was dropped by Brazos Christian (Bryan, TX), 50-32, in a non-league match.
The Indians now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dawson for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 9. Riesel will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 58-26 non-league loss to Malakoff (Malakoff, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
