Kansas High School Basketball - Atchison defeated by Junction City/St. Xavier
December 5, 2025: Junction City, KS 66441 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Junction City/St. Xavier Bluejays basketball team scored a good 62-45 win over the Atchison Phoenix.
The Bluejays (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hays (Hays, KS). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Hays defeated Liberal (Liberal, KS), 66-34, in a league match.
The Phoenix now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wamego for a non-league match on Monday, December 8. Atchison will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 67-46 non-league win over Topeka (Topeka, KS). The Red Raiders record now stands at 1-0.
