Texas High School Basketball - Burleson triumphant over Borger
December 5, 2025: Burleson, TX 76028 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) and the visiting Borger Bulldogs (Borger, TX), observed Burleson's basketball team overwhelm Borger by a score of 58-27.
The Elks (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Bushland (Bushland, TX). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Bushland was routed by Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX), 61-30, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Bulldogs meet the Nolan Catholic Vikings (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, December 6. Borger will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 3-9 record after their 55-28 non-league loss to Midland Christian (Midland, TX).
