Virginia High School Basketball - Chantilly thwarts Freedom
December 5, 2025: South Riding, VA 20152 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA) and the host Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA), observed Chantilly's basketball team knock off Freedom by a score of 38-26.
The Chargers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Potomac Falls prevailed over Heritage (Leesburg, VA), 46-31, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Eagles meet the South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, December 6. Freedom will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Seahawks enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 63-24 non-league loss to West Potomac (Alexandria, VA).
