Texas High School Basketball - Clarksville triumphant over Mildred
December 5, 2025: Corsicana, TX 75109 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Clarksville Tigers (Clarksville, TX) and the host Mildred Eagles (Corsicana, TX), observed Clarksville's basketball team overwhelm Mildred by a score of 47-21.
The Tigers (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Chisum (Paris, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Chisum walloped De Kalb (De Kalb, TX), 56-50, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cayuga for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9. Mildred will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 42-41 non-league win over Kerens (Kerens, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.
