In Friday's non-league test, the Colfax Falcons (Colfax, CA) basketball squad defeated the visiting Rocklin Thunder (Rocklin, CA), by a score of 51-36.

Next, the Falcons clash with the Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, December 10. Colfax will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 3-1 record after their 34-24 non-league win over Monte Vista (Danville, CA).

The Thunder (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against El Dorado (Placerville, CA). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, El Dorado gained a win over Bear River (Grass Valley, CA), 49-39, in a non-league bout.
