In Friday's non-league contest, the host Edgewood Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 42-25 win over the Wolfe City Wolves.

The Bulldogs (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Boles (Quinlan, TX). The Hornets enter the non-league match with a 5-7 record. In their last match, Boles lost by Chico (Chico, TX), 52-30, in a non-league match.

The Wolves now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cooper for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 9. Wolfe City will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 47-27 non-league loss to Chisum (Paris, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-11.
