North Carolina High School Basketball - Friendship Christian knocks off Shining Light Academy
December 5, 2025: Raleigh, NC 27609 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Friendship Christian Falcons (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting Shining Light Academy Knights (Greensboro, NC), observed Friendship Christian's basketball team overcome Shining Light Academy by a margin of 38-25.
The Falcons (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. David's (Raleigh, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, St. David's defeated Thales Academy Apex (Apex, NC), 40-9, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Knights meet the Calvary Christian Cougar (King, NC) in a NCCSA A East Region 3 match, on Tuesday, December 9. Shining Light Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Cougar enter the match with a 4-0 record after their 46-9 non-league win over Faith Christian (Ramseur, NC).
